Daughter of publicity

I'm in college, while my mother is the school director of the same college that I'm going to. I wish I could make it clearer. But, being the daughter of someone whom everybody (professors and other employees) in school regarded as their boss. Since I decided to go to college I was limited to talk about anything about my experiences in school to my mom. And it pains me a lot. My classmates will not stop teasing me about my mom; or accuse me about using my mom's influence. That's pretty mean. People will sometimes doubt about the results of examination. Sometimes I doubt my self too. Influence is a pretty disastrous element in society. I hate it when people look at it as something powerful and evil. Sometimes it is.
So, sometimes I neglect my mom's existence. I lied to people abou my relation to the dean. They may call me liar or something. I don't really care. Those people do not know anything.
Now, I'm in the newspaper. I will use other names to express. I will try to observe what my school mates reaction.

Equivalent Trade

"Let's revive mom," Ed suggested to Al. So Edward and Alfonse both tried to resurrect their mother. They mastered Alchemy and boom! Their life has been a thrilling adventure, worthy to be shown on TV and awarded as the Best Anime for 2007. This is the anime series entitled "Full Metal Alchemist", from the name that the king has given to Edward Elric, who has a great skill in Alchemy. He has learned to transmute without a transmutation circle, from executing human transmutation. Did I mention that most of the episodes in the story exclaim that "Human Transmutation is forbidden." Ed and Al figured out why and discovered that the reason is "Doing Human Transmutation is simply a suicide" ! Unlike Death Note, FMA has a fun side, filled with jokes, but behind the laughters there are dramatic moments from crucial memories about war, death of a love one and a rotten society. Generally its about the promise of Ed and Al to each other, that is to retrieve their original bodies and live a normal life again. Does it sounds creepy? Well, actually, Alfonse Elric, the younger brother of Edward, has his body taken by the eyes in the gate during their first human transmutation. Edward Elric on the the other hand has his left leg taken, but he sacrificed his right arm to take back his brother's soul and transmute it to an armor. Edward decided to replace his amputated limbs with automail. Soon they found the Philosopher stone and use it to get their original bodies and stop the enemies.

"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth. But the world isn't perfect, and the law is incomplete. Equivalent Exchange doesn't encompass everything that goes on here, but I still choose to believe in its principle: that all things do come at a price, that there's an ebb and a flow, a cycle, that the pain we went through did have a reward, and that anyone who's determined and perseveres will get something of value in return, even if it's not what they expected. I don't think of Equivalent Exchange as a law of the world anymore. I think of it as a promise between my brother and me. A promise that someday we'll see each other again."

Death Note

"If there was a human behind the scenes who could bestow and transfer that power...and they didn't want their methods to be discovered...its a little suspicious that they hadn't transfered till right at the very last moment...And if we accept the existence of something that couldlook down on us from heaven, there would be no way to catch it. I would either have died a long time ago, or I'd be spending eternity being toyed with in the palm of their hand. There's no way that something like exists.." This is the thought of L in episode #22, Guidance, in the anime series entitled Death Note.
So, what could be scarier than letting a human acquire such a powerful weapon, Death note. Death note has trigger more of my enthusiasm to anime. This is definitely worth watching for. At last, anime has achieve a wonderful level of art! Death note is a fascinating anime in terms of literary, illustration, and morals. It has 38 episodes, set in the year 2009. Its all about a young man named "Yagami Light" who thought that the world is simply a place of boredome and that the people around him are rotten, or rather, most people around him do not value life. Then, Light found the Death note. He used it to kill people whom he acknowledged to be evil. He started to fantasize about creating a New World for the good people alone. He dreamed to be a god. Ryuk, the shinigami who owns the Death Note, appeared to Light. Ryuk said that he will accompany Light until the time he still has the ownership over the Death Note. The appearance of the Shinigami is what makes Light's role more interesting.
Soon, the SPK led by the person known only in the acronym "L" found out about Light's doing, and named him Kira. The whole story is all about chasing Kira, putting up the puzzles to Kira's different connections to other people who owns the Death Note. Light has played around with the people around him: his family, his friends, and even the whole world. Kira or Light thought that he won when he was able to kill "L", but he didn't know that sooner he will be fighting to "L's"succesors known as Near or "N" and Mello.
In the end, Kira has led innocent people to their death, and in the end, he has been defeated.
